Today the United Nations observes a day to raise awareness of the presence of desertification and drought, highlighting methods of preventing desertification and recovering from drought. Green-Up joins the international community to celebrate this day as land is so far the greatest carbon sink and could help get the world onto the 1.5 degrees trajectory .
